Does anyone have an idea how to protect volvo headlight wipers from damage in a car wash?

Last time I took my Volvo S60 to an ARC car wash the headlight wipers were damaged. The person there said that there should be a clip to put around them to stop damage. But i think he's talking nonsence.|||Go to a "touchless" car wash.|||There is no such device. Go to a touchless automatic car wash or wash it yourself.|||Remove them all together. They are useless to begin with but look cool.|||go to a do it yourself carwash
