How much would replacing the struts in a rear drive Volvo run (ball park figure)?

A friend of mine has an old Volvo 940 that needs them replaced in the front and he would like to have an idea as to what the cost could be. He has the struts already and just needs someone to install them as it's too big a job for him and it's too cold out at this time of year for a shade tree mechanic such as he.
